You’ll continue to get access to Premium Student, for up to 12 months from the date you subscribed or last re-verified, while it’s available. If you’re no longer a student at the end of that period, you’ll no longer be eligible for Premium Student. Your subscription will then automatically switch to a Premium Standard plan at the then-current price per month, unless you cancel beforehand.

r/truespotify on Reddit: Indian Spotify Premium account in the USA
July 13, 2022 -

Hey guys! So I am moving to the States next month and I won't be able to afford a premium subscription in the US. So, I was thinking of buying a 1-year plan in India before going to the US. I don't mind the localized catalog and Indian-centric user experience. Will this work? Can I still use my Indian Spotify premium, for an entire year, once I am in the states?

r/spotify on Reddit: New logins from other countries?
February 13, 2020 -

Is anyone else getting notifications that your account is benign logged in from other countries? In the past week I’ve gotten two notifications, one about a login from France and another from Russia. I’ve changed my password and I don’t know what else to do.

Edit: 4/5/2020 - it appears this is an issue with Spotify’s servers and accounts aren’t compromised. To be safe, change your password and maybe change your billing info to go through PayPal instead of a credit card.

r/UnethicalLifeProTips on Reddit: ULPT Request: How do I pay for Spotify of X country when I’m in Y country ?
February 4, 2021 -

In this case : X is India and Y is a France

So in case you didn’t know, Spotify premium cost can drastically change from a country to another, less than 1$/month in India for example compared to 12$/month in France. But Spotify allows you to pay the Indian’s price if you have a credit card or payment method that is issued in India.

So my question is : Is there a service like Revolut or Paypal that’ll allow me to create a virtual debit card that is technically issued in India ? or is there any other way that I’m not thinking of ? I’m pretty sure someone has thought of this before so I’m open to your solutions. Thanks

EDIT: I think I didn't precise this, but I have a Family subscription. It costs 16€ in France and 2€ in India, that's why I want to find a way to "change countries"
