Try logging into the device using your Spotify credentials and you should be able to see it in the Spotify app even if it isn’t on the same WiFi.

September 15, 2025 - Go to Spotify.com/pair sign-up page. Enter and confirm your Email address. Choose a Password. Enter a suitable profile name. Complete the other details( such as gender, date of birth) Finally, click on SIGN UP from the login screen in the app

August 20, 2025 - ➡️ Open the Spotify app on your smart TV, gaming console, or other smart device. ➡️ Find the option to log in. Choose “Log in with PIN” or “Pair with code.”

You do that under My Watch > Spotify, and turn off Show on Apple Watch.

Connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi network, and log in to Spotify.

Select Spotify and tap Link Account, then Log in to Spotify.

Select LOG IN WITH PIN. Then on another device, go to www.spotify.com/pair and enter the pin you see on your screen.

If you don't have the app installed, you can download it from your TV's app store. Look for the Spotify logo and follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the app. After installing the app, open it and navigate to the settings menu. Here, you should find an option to pair your TV with Spotify.

July 6, 2025 - Disregard. For some reason my web browser on my phone and laptop saved Spotify.com/pair as the default and because I’m an **bleep**, I didn’t realize that’s what it was trying to do was pair a new device.

December 23, 2018 - The "login failed" error went away after I rebooted my Gear 2. I didn't even have to log in on the watch at that point. ... I had my phone stolen and had to get a replacement phone and go through all the set up again and after updating spotify for the gear fit 2, etc, got the same message you did. Just turned on bluetooth for both (obviously had a successful pairing and phone recognized my watch), opened Spotify on my phone and started playing a song, hit the spotify button on my watch, and voila, didn't have to go through log in as it just recognized spotify via bluetooth.

February 25, 2021 - It had Spotify pre-loaded on the watch. When I go to the app, it says "Log in to stream music (Premium feature)". I click on the screen and it tells me to go to www.spotify.com/pair. It then gives a six-digit code and tells me to put the code in at the website.
