If it’s a Spotify exclusive, then you have to listen on Spotify. It’s how they’re trying to build their listener base. It’s a stupid way to do it, it’s the reason that Gimlet tanked after Spotify bought them, and made a lot of their podcast Spotify exclusive.

I’ve got a podcast setup on Spotify for Podcasters. Today I just linked it with Apple Podcasts with the RSS feed Spotify/Anchor provides. The page for the podcast seems to have transferred to Apple, but it doesn’t have any episodes listed, although it’s been on the Spotify page for about a week. Should I just be patient? Or do I need to submit the episode individually or change a setting? For reference, I also connected the RSS feed to iHeartRadio and Amazon Music, and it seems to have instantly gotten that there was already an episode posted—is Apple just slower with the data transfer?

The post's title should be phrased as "how long does Apple take" because the delay is all Apple-side. yes they're slow and yes they nitpick where even if your icon is wrong dimensions they'll kick the entire thing back
