If I sign up for this today will I be grandfathered in and only have to pay 9.99 permanently for family plan? Doesn’t show anywhere that it’s just a trial or anything, but that doesn’t seem to make much sense. Was debating on switching to Apple Music exclusively but I do have Hulu grandfathered in I believe so I’m unsure I want to lose that

How does a Spotify family plan work?
Spotify’s Premium Family membership is a discounted plan for up to 6 family members who live together. The person who set up the plan may invite up to five additional accounts to stream music simultaneously or separately on their respective devices. It costs $19.99 per month and includes a few extra features, like a separate Spotify Kids app and the ability to block “explicit” music.
Does Spotify really check address for family?
Upon purchase or invite to the Premium Family plan, Spotify asks members to verify their full address. Spotify will periodically check that everyone on your Spotify Premium Family plan lives at the same address. Applicants receive seven days to input the relevant information. Memberships revert to Spotify Free after this period expires.
What is the family rule for Spotify?
To be eligible for the Spotify Premium Family subscription, all members must live at the same address. You can only host up to six accounts, and the plan manager cannot be changed once the membership starts. The plan manager receives up to 15 hours of audiobook listening time, and the members can only be changed once every 12 months. Spotify gift cards cannot be used to purchase the plan, and cancellation of the primary account will revert all sub-accounts to Spotify Free.
The cost of the individual plan rises by $1 per month, with the duo plan rising by $2 and the family plan by $3.
Spotify is hiking the prices of its premium plans for the second time in a year, a sign that streaming inflation is still running hot.
The music streaming giant said on Monday that it is adjusting the prices for all of its premium plans, with the individual plan rising by $1 per month to $11.99, the duo plan rising by $2 per month to $16.99, the family plan rising by $3 per month to $19.99. The student plan, which is offered at a discount to verified students, remains at $5.99.
The prices go into effect immediately for new subscribers, with existing subscribers getting an email explaining the new prices over the next month, after which the new prices will be in effect.
Hello,
I currently subscribe to the family plan for my daugher and I. I am trying to consolidate some monthly payments and would like to move over to a yearly plan for spotify. Is this possible? I do not see an option on the web page and a google search does not provide much information
