How does audiobook listening time work for Premium Family plans?
I’m already on Premium. What happens to all my saved music?
Do we share an account, or do we each get our own?
Posting this in case others are wondering why Spotify is asking that you purchase books.
I just found out that, on the Spotify Family plan, only the plan manager/person who set it up gets the 15 hours of audiobook listening, not everyone. I guess it makes sense, given they're the ones who have to make payments (even if there's an agreement among the family to reimburse) but it was a kick in the butt to Mt plans.
I'm going through the Animorphs series but I'm going through Hoopla and can only get 5 a month. I'm buying the Megamorphs and Chronicles but that still limits me some. Then I remember Spotify. I earlier wrote them off since, with rare exceptions, 15 hours is pitiful for audiobook listening but I realized that could get me 4 Animorphs novels.
When I checked to see if the whole series was on (it was) I saw that they only allowed buying. That's when I researched and found out about the Family Plan limitation.
Hope this helps people in the future who are wondering "Why can I listen to Paddington on Spotify?"
We have Premium Family and I have had access to audio books for the past few weeks.
My wife has just gone to add an audio book to her library to listen to on holiday next week but it's locked (needs to be purchased) even though the title isn't locked for me!
Does the audiobook entitlement only apply to the main account holder or is there an issue with my wife's account? 🤔
i'm on duos with my s.o and we just noticed that their audiobooks say 'included with premium' and they can listen to them, but they're locked for me when i search the same ones and I can't? i guess i get it, but i just wanted to clarify as we've never looked into the audiobooks before today lol.
