So it appears Spotify have given you the option of reverting your premium account back to basic without audiobooks. At least in the US. I'm from the UK checked my account and don't have the option? Anybody out there able to switch back to basic?

Spotify recently increased their price for premium from £10.99pm to £11.99pm.
At the same time they introduced a Basic plan that doesn't include any audiobooks. If like me you don't use them downgrading to the 'Basic' tier is an easy way to save a little bit of cash.
Got an email to say price has gone up so has got me thinking
So I’m in the UK as a student now, but premium here costs more, so can I keep my account location as any other country and pay that country’s premium price in order to pay less?
My Vodafone sub ran out this week. It's been 30hrs, and I can't deal.
What's the cheapest way to get Premium in the UK?
Since the US pricing is $9.99 for a premium account and the British pricing is still £9.99 that means that the US is only paying £6.20 for what I assume is the same service?
That hardly seems fair, does it? I've already contacted spotify to see when they are going to lower the UK prices, but as of yet I haven't heard anything.
Any thoughts?
Ps I don't know what the other European prices are, whether they are consistent across the board or not. It was just the high profile US launch that made me think of this.
PSA - Spotify just announced their second price increase within a year (now £12.99 for me).
Don't get me wrong, I love Spotify and get my money's worth easily, but this was the final subscription that was optional for me and this latest price increase pushed me over the edge.
Sharing as a reminder to check your subscription in case you don't get your money's worth.
Guess it's time dust off the cassette decks and record music from the radio to tape again!

Oh, and if the age verification fails, say goodbye to your account.
With Spotify increasing its pricing for its premium plan. What subscriptions do you think are worth it?
I never really stray from my ‘liked’ songs on Spotify..
Currently Spotify is giving discount for new premier membership with first 3 months only 9.99, the total cost for one year is around £89.91 which saves you £19.98 in total . Anyone like me who cancelled it earlier can rejoin now.
Learn how to use free VPN’s and get Spotify Philippine’s for 50p/60c a month.
I’ve been using it for nearly 8 months no issues. Did the same with Netflix only for Turkey. Which costs approx 15€ a year.
(Both are part of family plans, so cost would be treble I’d imagine for single accounts)
Does it work if you’ve had an account previously? I’ve done their three month deals before and I think I’ve been excluded from using them again?
Hi everyone!
I've received offers from Facebook London (TC 100k£) & Spotify Stockholm(TC 857K SEK). Role at Spotify is much more aligned with personal expectations + had great fit with the team. Facebook is FANG, so can open the door to many opportunities later on, but reputation has gotten downhill over past couple of years.
Any thoughts so as to
• life in Sweden v. London (I don't live in either cities atm)?
• Spotify v. Facebook?
• Potential future opportunities with one or the other?
• Offers: is compensation competitive + can I live well in both locations with this salary?
Thanks!
