Is it $7/m? I took the Annual for $74.99 as I wanted to learn about Data Science related topics. It has been helpful for me (based on my learning goal) and the price is affordable (based on my income). It is worth it for me as I am taking lessons every evening after work and I supplement my learning with sub-reddits/discord servers/books. I think the value really depends on what you get out of it. Not gonna lie, datacamp for SQL was very very helpful. SQL is a good tool to do a lot of tasks in almost any job nowadays. Just important note: It will teach you to write SQL queries, and basic concepts about databases, but it will NOT teach you any "expert" database design concepts. More on reddit.com

You've described taking two of the available 32 courses. 12/22 is an exceptionally good outcome for 8 hours of training. The name intermediate might be misleading given that it is very much a fundamental course but you're still v much a beginner. I am also a beginner, even at taking Data Manipulation in SQL and two courses on PostgreSQL. Consider sticking to the end of a learning path (I.e., SQL Fundamentals, Data Analyst in SQL) in DataCamp before making a switch. Also, use the other one concurrently so you're confident it will better meet your needs. The path of least resistance when hopping around is to just stop For me, the pursuit of the perfect learning tool has been by far the biggest barrier to progress. Hey everyone! 👋
I’m planning to start a few DataCamp courses to upskill myself for a data analyst role in 2025 — mainly Python, SQL, and Power BI.
I noticed that DataCamp offers certifications (like the Data Analyst Certification), and I’m a bit confused about how they work.
Do these certifications come automatically after completing the courses, or are they separate exam-based certifications that we have to register for? Also, if they’re exam-based, do we need to pay anything extra besides the Premium subscription to take them?
I would also like to know whether the Premium subscription is overall worth it, as I can get it for GBP 135 (annually) right now due to the ongoing sale.
I’d really appreciate it if anyone who has already done a DataCamp certification could share how the process works and whether it’s worth doing compared to just finishing the career tracks.

Exam based, you don't pay extra. Imo premium is worth it if you're serious about it and will use it daily. I definitely wouldn't have stuck with it if I had to do all self-directed learning.
