March 15, 2022 - The square panels definitely make it difficult to see your movement nicely. They don’t distort per-say, but it definitely makes you look choppy, if that makes sense lol. I ended up going to a place called At Home and they had tons of large floor length mirrors for $40 a piece and I mounted them to the wall :) Home Depot has those large mirrors for bathroom vanities available too.

Bathroom Mirror Cabinets - Bathroom Mirrors with Lights - IKEA UK
Increased square footage? Not quite, but it can sure feel that way. Mirrors offer a sense of space and light. Mirrors help enhance the light in the room, which makes it feel brighter without the need for additional light sources. The reflection also works like an optical illusion, where the mirror is perceived as open space compared to a solid wall or door. This works just as well in the bathroom ...

r/IKEA on Reddit: How would you hang a bathroom-sized mirror here (no drilling into the tile)
September 20, 2025 -
We are moving into a new house and were told we can't drill anything -- and I'm also hesitant to drill into tile lest it break. You can see the previous occupants just used a sticky hook to hang a cheap mirror, probably something plastic. We'd like something that looks a little bit nicer than that but probably have to go with some similarly simple solution.
Would Command Strips work fine on this tile to hang a mirror like LINDBYN (5 kg) or LÄRBRO (2.5 kg). I've read tons of threads telling people not to use command strips, but that is usually about hanging heavy things on drywall. All of our walls are either tile or cement. No studs or drywall.

Can't believe people suggest command strips. They don't stay up for more than a few years. I've gone through multiples just holding lightweight things like washcloths and hand towels. Eventually the adhesive ages and isn't sticky anymore.

Honestly you should talk the owner and ask why you can't drill into the tile. It's a minimum standard to have a mirror in a bathroom. You absolutely shouldn't be using tape or anything like that as it if it falls and breaks its dangerous. Also if it falls on the sink and damages it you have to pay. If your mirror is damaged you have lost money too. You need a solid solution. That means construction adhesive or drilling. Both are fine. Obviously glueing means it won't come off nicely at all. Probably will damage tiles. The obvious solution is for you to drill into the tile and just fix it properly. The land lord should just pay for this and do it properly so he can keep it in place after you. Or he needs to accept you will take it with you when your done and leave holes.
