Hi all - don't have much experience with SS, but looking to help a site get setup with fundamentals. Question: Do I need to connect and verify SC with SS? Or is it just an extra good step to take? Can they make decent decisions based on the Analytics provided?
Asking b/c I want to make this as easy as possible for the site owner? Thanks!!

no but if you care about SEO it's a good tool to have. looking at SC now and if I remember correctly you just add your site(URL) as a "property" to SC. On the SS end they (SC & SC) don't need to know about eachother I believe. If you want to connect GA you simply add "tracking I.D." to SS and not sure if besides that if you have to add any code to your pages to begin tracking or if that I.D. alone does all the magic.
