I have a squier classic vibe im interested in knowing more about if anyone can decipher the serial number? ive tried various websites and it says it cant find anything.

a squier classic vibe will have a serial number of CGS or, CGRL That is not the real serial. Remove the sticker, and underneath it will be the serial.

Usually serial number stickers like that mean the guitar is a refurbished guitar sold through a 3rd party vendor. Perhaps originally a defective guitar returned to a major dealer or one with a factory blemish.

I recently got myself a Squier Classic Vibe 50s Tele. But since I live in Brazil, it's not that easy to find stores that import Fender/Squier guitars, so I bought it online. When my guitar arrived, I noticed that the serial number starts with ISSA (ISS = Crafted in Indonesia). What's up with that "A" though? How can I check if it's a legit classic vibe?

Not positive, but I think that first letter is for the month, so yours would be January. FWIW, I can't imagine there's a market for counterfeit Squier Classic Vibes, good as they are for the money, though I could be wrong here too.

Picked up a Squier Classic Vibe Jag last week and tried looking up the serial number, it starts with 'ICSE', with the text "Made in Indonesia" below it. I assumed the reason I can't find anything about ICSE S/N's is because they're new or something, but that model's been out for quite a few years now if I'm not mistaken, and even Fender's own gear registration and serial number lookup is returning nothing, I'm unsure if that's because these only work on actual Fender's but I wanted some thoughts from the sub regardless, apologies if this is a stupidly obvious answer I'm completely clueless when it comes to stuff like this, thanks! :)

Best I can tell, when Squier reworked the line in 2019, they began to add additional codes to the serial. First two as always are location and factory, so IC in this case is Indonesia, Cort. The SE also will have a meaning, but to be honest I have forgotten what it is. One is IIRC a month code, and I have no idea on the other. The guy I knew that told me (and many others on a Squier based forum) has since died and I can't find the post where he explained it. Fender has the goofiest way of registering serials, so there are literally THOUSANDS of legit guitars that don't show in their database. While faked Squiers (other than the JV and SQ serials from the early 80s) are rare, they do happen. If you bought it new from a dealer you should be fine, if you bought it used odds are its all good, especially in this case as Jaguars aren't really widely made by other companies as Strats and Teles are. You can always post pics and have folks around here verify if you're really concerned about it.
