The key to preventing brown patch is getting ahead of it with Heritage G fungicide. Apply Heritage G in early September, then again 21 days later - that's two treatments spaced three weeks apart. Brown patch appears when we transition from summer to fall with cool nights and warm days, creating those ugly bright yellow circles in St. Augustine grass.
