Can I put my monitor on a standing desk converter?
what is the best sit stand desk converter?
how to convert a sitting desk to a standing desk?
I’m thinking of getting a platform for on top of my desk to be able to use it as a stand up desk. My budget is limited (definitely can’t afford a full stand up desk) and all the ones I see seem to only work with one monitor. Are there any that would accommodate two? Or a laptop and a monitor next to each other so I can extend the display?
My company got me the Uplift converter but there are few issues with it when sitting..
-
the monitors are high even if the monitor is pushed down or an arm - having to tilt your head up to look at the monitors is not what is typically shown in ergonomic diagrams
-
the keyboard tray cannot be moved at all and because there is a limit as to how far the converter can go, you have to tilt your hands slightly up to use the keyboard on the tray if your chair cannot go any higher
Anyone know of a converter that doesn't have these issues? I checked and the ones I saw all seem to be similar. They all seem to be built primarily for standing with sitting an afterthought
