This is a good, general use desktop. The kind I'd happily give my mom or father-in-law, and they'd be very pleased with the performance. Don't expect to game much on it, but for every day use, it's good. More on reddit.com

at my store, at least, we O N L Y sell demo laptops when the demo goes clearance. there is no lowering the price (maybe 10-15$ if it's missing an accessory, has a little scratching from the removal of a security of the device), and that's it. all box stock MUST BE sold before we sell the demo. if the demo isn't in near perfect condition, we don't sell it. we aren't going to discount it more to sell it to you, at least at my store. 🤷‍♀️ we are just gonna send it back idk wth the employee is talking about, but i don't think you're describing it well either? sounds like a communication issue, idk. gl.
