So not sure if it's just a delay, but dropped it off at a Staples store.
I got a printout stating I dropped it off and the time.
This was a return, so label was provided by mercari.
My issue is tracking has not updated and still shows label created.
It looks like it was physically scanned, as I did get a print out with tracking number.
Anyone who uses staples to drop off, is this normal?
Not sure if initial scan is done by ups themselves when it's picked up.
I remember dropping amazon returns and it being almost instant to update tracking.

I have 2 packages dropped off at Staples with receipt on 1/7 Saturday, Staples confirmed that UPS truck took the packages on 1/9 Monday. UPS tracking still says Label Created, no more tracking info.. I called UPS, they said UPS did not receive these packages and I could not submit a lost claim for the same reason. The buyers have cancelled the orders. I contacted Mercari customer service, they just said wait for the UPS tracking update and Keep in contact with UPS. I asked if Mercari could file a claim to UPS so they could investigate the lost packages, Mercari says they could not do anything. So now the buyers cancelled and I lost two packages. Does this happen to any of you? What else can I do now?
