Ads work well to create awareness of the product. You’ll need creator content and organic in order to prove your concept, create trust and facilitate a need. Some simple suggestions: create lead magnets - maybe a quiz or a download where you can offer insight into the product and how it helps. Education works well in this category to show you’re a leader in the space; talk about benefits of looking after your mind, benefits of ‘journalling’, mental health, self-care etc. You can also showcase new data and science in the industry to support the need for downloading your app. Build your email list from here to directly market to them; this is much cheaper, too. influencers - since this is a product that’s linked to emotions, utilising micro-influencers and nano-influencers could work in your benefit because it’s more intimate and relates to the psyche of an individual, meaning they’ll need to trust/genuinely like the person who’s recommending it. conduct your own studies; create proof by showing a side-by-side comparison of how someone feels without your app and how they feel with it. Hi!

I'm a first-time founder and now we with my co-founder are working on launching our solution. We are working on a b2c service that visualizes what people feel based on their notes. Our potential users are women 18-29 who are interested in feeling better.

I'm non-technical so marketing is in my responsibilities. Now I am trying to create something like a marketing strategy for this early-stage launch, and I would like to know your opinions about it, maybe I missed something that could work for us.

In my plan, we start by announcing in personal social networks, like LI, Ig and meeting new people on offline events.

We also would try to have some paid or unpaid announcements in groups on Fb about health, well-being, new apps, AI (we use AI in our service), women entrepreneurs supportive communities.

We were thinking about Tinder Ads, but I didn't have any reviews of it.

We also plan to work with influencers on Ig and YT, maybe TikTok.

And also would like to try Google Ads, IG ads, YT ads.

Have you tried something of it? How it was? Maybe I missed something that worked for you in similar cases?

Fascinating idea. I am in your target audience btw, and I’m also a new first time startup founder. First, make sure you make sure it’s a good product market fit that is niche enough. Then ask your future customers what they think. As for the marketing strategy, before you do any of ad spend or social media rollout, make sure you have a concise, specific message that you want to convey during your marketing plan. If you don’t have this, you may spend hundreds of dollars in vein. Make sure that message is bulletproof, and then convey it through all of your channels. I highly recommend watching TK Kaders videos on YouTube (go to market plans). Use social media and influencers once you have a message that differentiates yourself enough from the competition, and no, price is not enough to differentiate yourself. Analyze your competitors and see what their messaging is, who their target audience is, and if they received funding. Having competitors is good, and shows there is a market need. If you didn’t have any competitors, I’d be worried.
