I’d like to know if anyone has experience with the Steelcase Brody. Specifically in the pictured configuration.

I haven’t really seen these anywhere but I’ve heard they are most often found on college campuses. Unfortunately I’ve only had the opportunity to sit on one for a short period of time and didn’t get to see how it felt in different use cases.

A local liquidator has recently listed a few for sale considerably below list price, I would like to buy one but I’ve been really concerned on how useful and comfortable it’ll be for long hours and whether or not it can replace a traditional desk and chair setup.

I was thinking of installing a monitor arm setup that swivels in and out and placing the keyboard on the tray. However it looks like the seat position is mostly in a reclined position. Given the fixed position of everything I’m also worried the long term comfort since you won’t be able to shift around that much.
