I just got the Apex Pro and I seriously don’t get why people hate on the Apex Pro so much. Like, I’ve tried a ton of keyboards—custom boards, hot-swappables, all kinds of switches—and the Apex Pro is honestly amazing for what it is. The OmniPoint switches are next-level. You can adjust the actuation to whatever you want, which is perfect whether you’re gaming or just typing a paper. It feels super smooth, the build quality is solid, and the RGB is actually clean (not some cheap-looking lighting like other "gamer" boards). Im sure yall already know this but its just perfect.
Yeah, it’s expensive, but you’re paying for tech that most boards don’t have. And honestly, the hate feels so over the top. A lot of people trash it just because it’s popular or because SteelSeries markets it hard to gamers, but that doesn’t make it bad. Sure, it’s not for everyone—like, if you’re into full custom builds or want hot-swap, it’s not your board—but it does what it’s designed for insanely well.
It just feels like most of the hate comes from people who haven’t even tried it or are just repeating what everyone else says. If you don’t like it, that’s fine, but don’t act like it’s trash when it’s actually one of the most innovative keyboards out there right now.
