A Wall Street Analyst Who Correctly Predicted the Stock Market Collapse in 2022 Has a New Price Target for the S&P 500 Index -- and It May Surprise You | The Motley Fool
November 23, 2025 - Nobody can predict the future, and 12 months is a relatively short period of time. It's also riskier for strategists to be bearish, as more strategists will lose their jobs for missing a market rally than for failing to see a market correction.

Outlook for the US Stock Market in 2022 (Bear vs. Bull Discussion)
Record high consumer debt, record high private debt, record high government debt, 150% of peak 2007 housing prices; a huge dam of baby boomers ready to jump into Bonds that have been artificially held back by Fed manipulation, forcing people into risk they dont want. Interest rates going up to curb 7% inflation. Its a perfect storm, a shit tornado Randy. The Fed has really screwed things up, wealth disparity is huge, and the Fed have really shown their incompetence. We should just abolish them at this point and get away from central planning, they caused 2001 and 2008 as well through manipulating interest rates. They know they are causing a bubble, they intentionally do so for a short high that we get, and then they never let off the gas. More on reddit.com

The Market Outlook in 2022

There's a massive taper tantrum and the fed hasn't even started raising rates yet. It's to the point that a lot of stocks are at yearly lows.

I have a feeling that 2022 will be flat with money just cycling around

Investment Outlook 2026: U.S. Stock Market to Guide Growth | Morgan Stanley
November 19, 2025 - In this environment, Morgan Stanley Research recommends an overweight position in stocks, equal-weight in fixed income and underweight in commodities and cash, with a strong preference for U.S. assets. “The triumvirate of fiscal policy, monetary policy and deregulation are all working together in a way that rarely happens outside of a recession,” says Serena Tang, Morgan Stanley’s Chief Global Cross-Asset Strategist. “This unusually favorable policy mix allows markets to shift focus from global macro concerns to asset-specific narratives—particularly those related to AI investments.”

2 weeks ago - Mega-cap technology companies propelled the market’s AI-related gains. But beneath that concentrated leadership the AI transformation is creating dispersion across a broader universe of companies tied to the theme, according to Jeff Shen, Co-Head and Co-CIO of Systematic Active Equities, and Linus Franngard, Senior Researcher, Thematic Investing, Systematic Active Equities. They look at the potential portfolio implications of being underweight stocks deemed AI laggards that ultimately play catch-up.

November 24, 2025 - Albert Edwards, the outspoken global strategist at Société Générale—a figure who even refers to himself as a “perma bear”—is certain that the current U.S. equity market, driven largely by high-flying tech and AI, is experiencing a dangerous bubble. (Société Générale, to be clear, does not hold the view that U.S. stocks or AI stocks are in a bubble, noting that Edwards is employed as the in-house alternative view.)

Legendary investor Ray Dalio drops most shocking take on stock market - TheStreet
November 23, 2025 - Dalio feels the market isn’t just drifting into a bubble; it’s already “about 80%” of the way into one. He argues that a bubble essentially forms when there’s “a lot of creation of wealth” through inflated stock issuance, heightened leverage, and buying that just isn’t sustainable.

US stock market outlook for November 17-21: All eyes on tech earnings, Nvidia and economic data - The Economic Times
November 17, 2025 - However, recent doubts about AI hype, investment sustainability, and market positioning (including Michael Burry’s short in Palantir) have raised the stakes: A strong report could reignite the ‘AI bull trade,’ while a miss may trigger renewed selling and down week for stocks. For the first time since the record-long government shutdown, investors will receive verified economic data, including the Empire State Manufacturing Index, industrial production, housing starts, and jobless claims. The shutdown’s disruption made it difficult for traders and policymakers to gauge the true state of the US economy, sparking market uncertainty and volatility.
