Weekly Trader's Stock Market Outlook | Charles Schwab
The creep higher in longer-term yields isn't necessarily bearish for stocks, but it can introduce some additional volatility, especially for rate-sensitive sectors. If yields continue to push higher in the coming weeks, but it's driven by longer-term economic growth expectations, investors will likely be forgiving of the development. Speaking of the economy, next week we'll get the ADP report, JOLTs and Nonfarm Payrolls report, all of which will help color the picture of the U.S. labor market and potentially add volatility to trading.

5 Predictions for the Stock Market in 2026 -- and Which Stocks Will Soar the Most If They're Right
18 hours ago - I even predict that more customers will choose Google's Tensor Processing Units (TPUs) over Nvidia's (NASDAQ: NVDA) GPUs over the next 12 months. And, yes, I predict that agentic AI will be a key growth driver for Alphabet. I expect the technology to help increase tangible returns on AI investments in 2026, with Google Cloud likely to be a primary beneficiary. Renewable energy doesn't enjoy the favor with the Trump administration as it did when Joe Biden was president. However, that didn't stop renewable energy stocks such as Brookfield Renewable (NYSE: BEP) (NYSE: BEPC) and Clearway Energy (NYSE: CWEN) from rising in 2025.

Weekly Stock Market Update | Edward Jones
October 26, 2020 - First, we recommend a check-in on the health of the U.S. economy in early 2026 as data disruptions from last year's government shutdown fade, providing a cross-check of optimistic market expectations. Second, investors should consider deploying excess cash over time, according to their risk tolerance, investment objectives and time horizon. With interest rates down nearly 200 basis points (2%) from their peak and expected to fall further this year, stocks and bonds may offer better returns. Next, we think investors should target a well-diversified portfolio of domestic and international equities, helping to spread risk and take advantage of broadening earnings growth at home and overseas.

r/stocks on Reddit: Here are my predictions for Monday (01/05/26)

There will be a post asking if MU can go higher.

There will be a post mentioning that the valuations are ridiculously high and that we are, in fact, in a bubble of epic bubbly proportions.

There will be a post where the user is going to be quite confused and distraught. About the current valuation of TSLA. Because it simply makes no sense. The confusion will be so palpable that one may wonder why the user didn't just use chatgpt or Gemini to answer the question quicker. In turn showing that perhaps LLMs are, in fact, a bubble. Because while the user had access to a quick answer, they chose not to use it. Stupid circular money.

There seems to be an uptick in the number of posts about Satya Nadella talking about AI slop. I see that being woven into bubble narrative quite soon here in the investing subreddits.

Well, that about sums up my predictions for posts on Reddit for this coming Monday. What are yours?
