How does your password generator create strong passwords?
How often should I change passwords created by your generator?
How do hackers get your password?
Even if you generate strong passwords and make sure they are as secure as possible, hackers can still get their hands on them. In addition to cracking your password, hackers can:
breach an online service you use and steal your password from there
use a virus to log your keystrokes as you log in
trick you into giving your password to them with a phishing scam or social engineering
buy passwords from another hacker on an online black market
Modern hacking is a highly automated activity that targets millions of users at the same time. That’s why you should use one password only for one account, instead of using the same ones on different accounts. Even if someone gets your password, they can log into only a single account. Your other accounts are safe.

New member here and a new fellow SA. Where I work I need to setup passwords that follow particular rules: minimum length, letters, numbers, etc (no problem with these).
Unfortunately things get a little harder when it comes to special characters. Since the system accepts a very specific list of those !^()$+@&#%* and all major tools have a predefined set of symbols, whenever I generate a new password I have to always check that it doesn't contain unsupported chars.
Does a fully customizable password generator exist?
EDIT: Random Password Generator does exactly what I need! Been a member here for a few hours, but I'm already loving the community :)
Thanks Wise_Philosopher_ for sharing!
EDIT 2: Curious to know. What is everyone using to create passwords?
