Avoid Structube
Experiences with Structube? Are they THAT bad?
IMO I’m not a big fan of structube, we have a few pieces and they aren’t very well built (think terrible fit and finish, wobbly tables, etc). For the price I prefer ikea, yes they are similar but I feel structube is a bit higher and the pieces are a bit trendier.
If you like west elm for the mid century look, I recommend buying second hand from places like Reclaim to fame (they have an online store as well), or Murphy’s mid century in inglewood. Good prices, knowledgeable people and they are always getting new pieces in. I hope that helps!

Buying Dining Table and Queen Bed frame from Structube? Worth it?
Just a heads up for anyone thinking of buying from Structube — my experience has been terrible. Their reviews are honestly not worth trusting because they don’t seem to let negative ones through. Everything looks great online, but the quality is super hit-or-miss once you actually get the furniture.
The 7-day return policy is basically useless. By the time you build the item, notice issues, and try to deal with customer service, the window is already gone. And customer service… is just terib . Getting anyone to actually help or take responsibility is a nightmare.
Really regret dropping a couple grand there on chairs ( Eva ) and a bed (Ravel). If you’re on the fence, I’d say be careful — my experience has been nothing but hassle. If I could go back, I’d shop somewhere else
Considering spending a decent amount of money at Structube.
Looking up reviews, there's tons of negative ones from across Canada, Calgary included, but a lot of the complaints aren't any different from the experience you'd get from other furniture retailers, and some of the bad reviews are just....unreasonable, tbh.
Structube's prices are about the same as IKEA so I'm not expecting the best quality, or even the best customer service. Just want to make sure if I spend $3000+ on items there I'm not dumping money down the drain.
Is anyone able to share their experience with Structube? Would love to know the quality of their sofas, accent tables etc. Apparently their beds are garbage, but I'm not looking for a bed from them anyway.
Item I'm eyeing the most is this sofa: https://www.structube.com/en/kyle-sofa-19-91-27?pid=23856
A lot of the bad reviews are about their delivery service, and I would be able to pick up most/all items myself with a truck assuming that's possible .
Would also be open to other furniture retailers, but not looking to increase my budget drastically. West Elm and EQ3's price points are much much higher.

I bought a couch from there, after a year, I couldn’t sit on it, it was so flat. You can’t remove the seat cushions on the model I bought. It’s currently a cat bed in my spare room till I can get it out of my house.
$1100 dollar mistake, plus the delivery company they use sucks — like super sucks.
So I recently moved to Toronto, and I thought, let me get something for my apartment that's not from Ikea, so I thought, let me try Strutube!!! Man, that was a mistake!! I should have read the reviews on Reddit first! I got two bar chairs( kitchen island style) and two regular bar stools; the stools were in stock, and the chairs were not! I thought, let me purchase anyways, so maybe they will send a partial order, but nope, it's been 3 weeks, and the order status says Strutube is waiting for chairs (restocked by April 21) to ship all together 🤷🏻♂️
Why not just release a partial order? They already charged about $60 for delivery, so why are they hosting items already in stock? What's the rationale?
Has anyone recently experienced Stuctube delivery delays? I am reading people spending a lot on sofas, and it takes about 7 months to get them!!! I wish I had read the reviews first, but I thought I was supporting a Canadian company! 😔
EDIT: finally today (04/16) Structube Items arrived in good shape!
Is it worth paying for the same dining table for solid wood at Structube at 50% less price than the Perfect Furniture Store?
