Rising Junior applying for tech/SWE internships for Summer 2023, looking for any and all feedback on my resume. Thank You!!
Some thoughts on your resume
Title
-
Don't use fancy bullets at the top, just pipes or something simple will do.
Experience
-
I would add more detail to your App Dev bullets. Ex. What was gained from automating error reporting? Caught bugs faster? Less manual work? How much?
-
Adding onto the above, when you say "Constructed a mobile app" did you build the entire thing end to end? Go into more detail, frameworks, front end, middle tier, database. What was improved by the app? If that's not what you did, then be more specific about your actual work, but still be detailed in what you accomplished.
-
You can probably remove lifeguard as it's irrelevant. YMMV though. Might be a good talking point for internships.
Skills
-
Can just say Eclipse, employers should know it's an IDE.
-
Remove microsoft office
-
Any frameworks, databases, automation tools, cloud exp?
Videos
Is there any such google docs that has all swe intern for 2023 summer?
Thank you!
im looking to get my first internship this summer and I have no experience any advice is appreciated

What are you wanting advice on? Where to find internships? How to apply? How to make a resume/cover letter/portfolio? How to gain experience?
I’m an English major, so I won’t have any advice specific to software engineers. However, I can help with grammar, resumes, and just the general application process.
