Keep in mind that Bean bags take up a stupid amount of space, and are an absolute bitch to store when not in use. My last theater I had FUF bags.... They were basically puck shaped sitting 3ft tall and 4ft across. Once it's expanded, just forget about trying to re-condense it again... They were large enough that it would happily stick in stairways. I just de-foamed mine when I moved. Haven't re-foamed them yet. On the plus side, they were comfortable and sturdy enough that a 300+lb was able to flop/jump back into them, and NOT bottom out. That said, bean bags aren't "complicated"... if you know someone with a sewing machine, it's two discs of fabric, a long rectangle piece of fabric, and a zipper somewhere.... If you have a place nearby that sells foam, you might be able to build them cheaper... More on reddit.com

Figured I'd post a follow up since we've had it a while. Ordered our sumo maximus and shipping was crazy fast got here in a couple days. Opened it up and it expanded pretty fast and was super comfortable. Wife complained she sunk in to far after sitting on it for a little while so we emailed sumo and they sent us more foam for free. Added the extra foam to it and now its perfect. We might sleep on it more than we do our bed now. Highly recommend it. I've never sat on a lovesac but she has and says the sumo is much better. I worked lovesac production while in college. They are legitimately BIFL. Most people get rid of them because they're over it, few get to be worn out. They used to have a lifetime warranty that they would honor as well. LoveSac is using closed cell memory foam which is one of the reasons they're expensive. It's the 40-60 lbs of foam (several lay z boys worth) and shredding and shipping it is not an easy process. Regardless of age, when you pick them up and flip them over a few times they'll puff right back up as if they're brand new. They can hold you like a chair without being up against a wall. The big LoveSacs require about 10 yards of fabric, heavy duty zippers, stitching, etc, thats to both to removable covers and to shroud the insert, which is the other reason they're as expensive as they are. If you keep it 10 years being able to swap out the cover can refresh the look as the insert is the most expensive part. if instead you're going for a traditional bean bag, small, up against a wall, or just want to stay cheap, or plan on throwing it away in a couple years, that's fine, but note the ones filled with styrofoam peanuts or anything similar: they compress and don't come back. If you intend to keep a cheap one expect little, or that you'll need to refill it over and over and over. I'd avoid it as it's a nightmare mess to refill, you can't shape it as it has the structural Integrity of sand, and cannot hold you in a sitting position in the middle of a floor The competitors to Lovesac used to ship you a half empty bag and another bag of filler and have you fill it yourself. Not sure if this is still the case. Tldr. They're spendy, but do deliver and can be shaped to act as a chair / bed / recliner for 10 years±. More on reddit.com
