Wife sat on a friend's lovesac and loved it. When she found out how much they cost she flipped and said no way. Her birthdays coming up and I've been trying to find her a comparable but less expensive option. Narrowed it down to sumo or comfy sac. I'm also wanting the 8' version of either.

Sumo pros More real people reviews online. Higher rated on most sites that compare them to comfy sac.

Sumo cons Return policy is 7-10 days only if unopened. Whose not gonna open it?

Comfysac pros Quick shipping Supposedly used by Amazon, Apple, big corporations. 30 day returns, doesn't say anything about has to be unopened

Anyone got any input on which is better or anything I missed? I'm leaning sumo lounge because I can't find anything bad about them but just hate that if its not great I can't return it.

Figured I'd post a follow up since we've had it a while. Ordered our sumo maximus and shipping was crazy fast got here in a couple days. Opened it up and it expanded pretty fast and was super comfortable. Wife complained she sunk in to far after sitting on it for a little while so we emailed sumo and they sent us more foam for free. Added the extra foam to it and now its perfect. We might sleep on it more than we do our bed now. Highly recommend it. I've never sat on a lovesac but she has and says the sumo is much better.

Welp couldnt handle it.... called em and they said if it went on sale any cheaper in the next 14 days they'd refund me the difference. Ordered a maximus. Don't know where we'll fit it but might be the centerpiece of the living room when it gets here.

I've had this beanbag for decades and the original filling is little styrofoam-type balls which have compacted over the years. I'd like to top it up but not by buying new plastic balls. And I don't want it to end up either massively uncomfortable, excessively heavy, or eventually mouldy.

I wondered about lentils or rice, but they're pretty heavy. I might be able to get home of some used sheets of Styrofoam, but they don't seem very comfortable unless broken into microscopic pieces.

It may be worth asking on a Buy Nothing group if anyone has an old beanbag chair. You could repurpose the filling

We have one that you stuff with stuffed animals. We've put extra blankets and pillows in there too.
