Got sold Sunday at Costco. Used as directed(mostly). I’m a novice at lawn care. I’ve been able to keep my grass maintained for the last 8 years and after using Sunday for a year, it now looks like this! WTF any advice on what to do would be appreciated.

Might be grubs. Try pulling up on a dead section. If it peels up super easy (because the roots have been eaten), its probably grubs. Depending on your current temps, grubs may or may not actually be feeding at the moment. When it's cold (soil temps under 50F), they tend to burrow down deeper into the soil and wait until it warms back up. Sunday is okay fertilizer and certainly wouldn't be causing this problem. It is, however, a very poor value.

Sunday lawn care ruined my grass and they are refusing to give me my money back. It was healthy and now it’s loaded with crabgrass, weeds, and the last spray killed half my grass from chemical burn.

It won't ruin your lawn, but it's closer to gimmick than actual helpful for your lawn specifically. It's just another version of a DIY type system for homeowners. If you don't want to do a lot of work, it's probably ok. But you also may not get the high end results many people here aim for.

Second year with Sunday. You wouldn’t believe it but last year it was very patchy, brown, and where the weeping tree is on the left, no grass just dirt and some weeds. So last year I got my kit with the soil test and sent that in, they adjusted my second shipment based on the results of the test. I did over-seed with their supplied seed. These are the products I’ve used this year. Lawn-Boy model: 10424 ♻️Mulching (2 bagging sessions for cottonwood fuz) 💭 Sunday products used -Sunday : Fescue Resuce grass seed 🌱(over seeding for the front lawn, patching for back, seeding for the front tree area.) -Sunday : Lawn Kickstart fertilizer ✅ -Sunday : Grass Machine 🌱 -Water schedule 💦 —morning 8ish am 🌝 —evening 7ish pm 🌜 Dethatched manually end of March

Seen a lot of ads recently for Sunday lawn service and I desperately need some help getting my lawn in order. I did some looking but most of "reviews" are people just saying they ordered it or they tried the first application. So wanted to see if anyone's used them over the last year and how's they work. Thank you!

I used it last year and wasn’t happy. They “forgot” to send two of my shipments so I had to keep bugging them to send it. Never got my soil test results back. Then the last shipment the cheap plastic sprayer wouldn’t spray anymore and it took them so long to send me a new one it got too cold to put the product on. Can’t recommend it just for the logistical problems. Never got all the product applied so it may or may not work. The dandelion doom product is worthless.

I’ve been using it for almost a year and it seems to be working well. You can probably do the research yourself and buy your own products and save some money but for a lawn noob like me it works great. Takes all the thinking out of it. Maybe once I get more experience I’ll use my own products but no complaints from me so far.

Very brief review of the Sunday fertilizer kit from Costco: Included screw on hose sprayer head clogged after spraying from the yellow early season bag for about a minute. Thus shall return it all. Probably just as well since I have Revive and other products laying around anyway. As well as my own backpack sprayer.
