My card was declined, I don’t know why, and finding a way to talk to an actual person seems impossible, figured I’d try here and see if anyone knew
I had Sams club membership a few years ago but didn’t bother renewing it because I switched to Costco.
I am not very happy with Costco and want to switch back to Sams.
Found out recently that Synchrony closed my account, nor was I ever notified about it.
Can this come back to bite me if I try to reactivate my membership and a Sams club credit card with Synchrony? Or can I call synchrony to reactivate my old card and then I can renew my membership?
Logged in to retrieve my transactions for my business account and they no longer allow me to download them. Speaking on the phone they refuse to send me an excel sheet with the transactions, but tell me they can mail paper copies in a week or two.
After messaging them looking for help, I find out that apparently they changed their policy where you have to enroll in paperless billing in order to be able to download the transactions. I wasn't aware of this and didn't receive any notice about it. Alls well, I happily enroll in paperless billing so I can download them...but it doesn't work!
Further messaging reveals that enrollment in paperless billing will only apply to my statements from here on out, that they can only send me paper reams of my transactions so that I can transcribe them by hand into the computer. There are no exceptions to this policy.
I simply do not understand how a place can be so petty and needlessly cruel to their account holders. Literal demons, will be closing my account and avoiding this company like the plague after these taxes are complete
