Isn't aleppo the biggest city, and not the capital ?
They probably didn’t include Syria since there hasn’t been a census since like 2010, and a lot changed since then.
Aleppo is the biggest city in Syria but Damascus is probably more populated by far due to the destruction of Aleppo, a lot of people left.
