Are the iPhone 8 and Samsung Galaxy S9+ going to lose support on T-Mobile's network anytime soon?
Thanks in advance!
Basically since 6/20/22, my grandmother's iPhone 8 Plus has been on E or SOS if the bars are 2 or lower. It can't receive a call or search for anything on Safari. If you are in an area that has full bars you can get LTE but it also doesn't work searching anything on Safari.
I went to the TMobile store and he just straight up told me "yea we've been becoming more strict on 5G so basically your phone will just keep searching for 5G, if you reset the network settings it'll work for a couple of minutes but it'll eventually not work anymore".
I was wondering if anyone else has been having this issue or if they basically bs'ed me into upgrading. Ended up getting the 13 since my grandma doesn't really use her phone much to begin with.
Hi everyone.
I called support about a different issue and they told me my mom's iPhone 8+ would no longer be supported. Im assuming this is due to the 3g being turned off but just curious if this was true.
