April 22, 2024 - My advice is to buy either from a seemingly reputable seller that is either the original owner or has a guarantee of some sort... or buy an unlocked phone. I have bought an old tmobile phone on ebay from a reseller that lists tons of phones for a trade in that ended up blacklisted. No problem sending back for refund... I'm guessing it's just the risk/loss they absorb as part of reselling. ... I tried checkesnfree and carrier of T-Mobile financial and it just says failed.
