I have a iPhone 6 that is fine for my uses. I've got a former Sprint account, but the CDMA retirement seems to be knocking out my phone from service. Ultimately I want to pick up a compatible used iPhone that will work after the shutdown.
I cannot seem to find a clear list of compatible devices. Is such a list available? Any tips on selecting a compatible device are welcome. (I'm explicitly looking to give more life to an old device.)
T-mobile says I'm "eligible for an upgrade". I go to their website, and look at the iphone 16 plus.
$929 from T-mobile, but I can get $200 back from trading in my old iphone 12 pro. = $729 net cost
For fun, I compared it to Apple's website, where iphone 16 plus is $899 and I can get $220 back from trading in my old phone. = $679 net cost
Why is T-mobile more expensive?
I don't care about spreading the payments out over a longer time period if it's paying more money in total.
Are there any benefits to buying from T-mobile compared to Apple directly?
