I opened a T Mobile Account and then a few days latter added 5 more lines, I received a text with a link to create a TMobile ID and establish account access.
Since I had already established my TMobile ID and had used my account, I copied and texted the directions to my adult children and their spouses and well as my 21 yr old grandson so they could establish their own accounts to check billing and add on costs as well as usage.
I then logged into my account and changed my daughter's access status from "Standard" to "Full". The pop up menu warned me she now has the ability to make account changes and purchases which is what I want.
My grandson texted back the next day that he set up his ID. However my 50 yr old daughter said she couldn't set up an ID for herself.
When my daughter contacted TMobile Support about her dual Sim activation, we had to do a 3 way support call to include me. When I asked, we were told that there could be only TMobile Acount and everyone on the account needed to share the same log in.
I had to make another support call to add a line the next day. When I again mentioned sharing the same account login I was told that each person with a line on the account could log in under their account but they needed to use an email instead of a phone number.
My daughter tried again but no success.
So which is correct? Did my grandson (3000 miles from me) actually create his own account? Should my adult daughter be able to create her own account?
It doesn't make sense that I can edit the settings for the various line users from Standard to Full if they have no way to log in under their own account.
It would seem if my daughter can only log in under my ID, there would be no reason to give her Full accesses since she would have "my" Owner menu once she was logged in under my account.
I signed up for T-Mobile home internet today. I was sent and order ID, confirmation, etc. via email.
My existing cell phone number is with T-Mobile and is part of a separate family plan (of which I am not the primary account holder). I explicitly had the agent set up the new home internet as a separate plan.
My phone number (and email address) are already associated with the log-in connected to the family plan cell phone account. How do I set up a new online log in for the separate Home Internet account?
I haven't called the 1800 number yet, figured I'd ask here for a quick solution before spending time on hold.

Anyone else new to T-Mobile Home Internet and can't create an online account? I keep getting this error:
We're sorry, we don't recognize this email. Please provide the email you used when purchasing your T-Mobile service, or contact Care by dialing 1-800-937-8997 or 611 from your T-Mobile phone.
Even though I get emails from them when I signed up, they say that email is not recognized. I've called support, and they say they know about the issue and are working on it, but looking through this Subreddit and their forum it looks like it's been going on since 2021. A couple of years and they have not figured it out? It appears that they used to have a workaround but not anymore and just tell us to use paper billing or guest pay, which means you lose the $5 autopay discount.
What a mess of a situation. It's crazy that they can't do a workaround until the problem is fixed, especially a problem that's been going on for years.
