Well late last week I changed my mind, and wanted to go with the Ultra version of the S21, so I placed an order for it on saturday. Tmobile site gave me a possible ship date of 2/17-3/3. Which is a decent bit away. Overall not their fault for me ordering it when I did.

However I am curious from anyone's past later preordering of a phone, do you think it's possible a worst case ship by date, and I could get it much sooner?

The reason it makes me curious, is samsung's own site has the same version, for Tmobile, and has a 2/5 ship by date. I know two different companies, with two different inventories. I am just wondering what's my odds it may ship within a week, or so, and not 2-3 weeks from now?

Not sure if it's known, but I'm wondering when I will have the option to place an order for a Galaxy S21 Ultra 512GB model. Neither phone reps or in-store employees can order it due to it being out of stock. I don't need to walk out with the phone day-of and am ok waiting on backorder, but I don't want to miss the trade-in promo (currently using an S9+).

For what it's worth, I had the phone pre-ordered, but TMobile made a mistake on their end causing it to cancel. I've been told they will honor the trade in promo as well as the Samsung pre-order promo (if Samsung won't). Just hoping to get it ordered soon so I don't have to jump through as many potential hoops than need be...

Edit on 3/1: Back in stock via T-Mobile! Just placed my order and was told 5-7 days for shipping.
