October 12, 2025T-Mobiles customer service has gone off a cliff in the last few months…
I spoke to a customer today that wanted to connect his phone to the tmo wifi. Didn't know the wifi password. Tried to get him to log into tlife to see it. Doesn't know his tlife password. Tried to reset the password. Couldn't navigate from the text message screen back to the enter the temp pin screen. That's who is taking up all the time on the phone. Now he's going to the store to tell them how awful it is that everything has a password these days. More on reddit.com

If you worked for a retail store then you should know you have to be on wifi to activate an esim. It doesn't just magically turn on. You have to go to settings and choose to add esim. IMEI automatically pulls your sim number in the system no need for you to give them the esim number. You should also know that Apple has nothing to do with activating your carrier's cell service. I spent an hour last night trying to reach someone on the phone; after being on hold for about an hour, I was finally disconnected! 😡
I have tried on the phone for about an hour this morning and have received no answer!!!
I tried to reach T-Mobile's task force this morning via x and get no replies!!!
Although I've been a customer of T-Mobile for several years, I'm thinking of switching at this point. Their tech support has gone to crap!!!
I used to be one of the biggest proponents of T-Mobile. Now I'm probably one of their biggest enemies. - If T-Mobile cannot give customers support that they deserve, they have lost me!!!

Real question. Why are so many customers calling T-Mobile for support? I’ve been a customer for at least 7 years, have 8 lines, and have never once contacted support by phone. On the rare occasion I need something I handle it in chat. But it’s extremely rare I ever contact them. Is all of this over trade-ins and device promos? Now I buy my phones directly from manufacturers and my family members know how to transfer data and lines between phones when we replace them. Is that the type of thing people call for?
