July 2, 2025T-Mobile customer service has become straight up criminals.
That promotion does exist. I'm unsure to as why everybody say it isn't. But, your problem is your rate plan for the mobile internet line is wrong. For that promotion to be applied, you have to be on the $30/month, Unlimited Magenta Tablet + 10GB of mobile hotspot rate plan. It's bs how it works. Sadly, the only way to fix it is to call customer care. Just explain how when you got the tablet, the rep told you incorrect information, and you recently went to a store and got assistance they told you what to do. (Dont say you got help online, they wont listen to you). Tell them that you understand you need to change your rate plan to get that promotion, and hopefully, depending on the rep, they should be able to switch over your plan and get that promotion applied. They got rid of their chat feature and they have no way to email them you cannot use your computer at all to communicate with them and modify your account anymore you can only go in person and call them This is a way of trying to restrict people from canceling their accounts quick and easy they noticed people were using those easy computer features to cancel their accounts when they were getting ripped off Now they won't let you do that More on reddit.com

Where is the chat option in the app?
I can't find the option to message customer service in the T-Life app and I see posts here with people showing pictures of them messaging. Are they using a special app?
I know there's Twitter and FB for T-Force, but I don't want to create an account on those platforms just for that.

I'm having the same issue I can't find any way to message them directly from my computer and do all the same stuff that they want you to do over the phone they used to allow people to do this it seems as though they just straight up cut that out of their system Customer service is no longer a thing for them anymore unless you directly call them Which is bull crap
