Earlier this year I was on my sisters T-Mobile plan. She mentioned that if we upgraded plans we could trade in our phones any condition and get a new iPhone 16 with $830 credit towards the phone. It never happened, but I did look into it at the time and remember experience more and experience beyond both had the promotion available.Now fast forward me and my brother left her plan and he made a new one and joined the experience more pln . I recently join his plan and I wanted to upgrade my device. But I noticed that when I did it in "T-life" app that the promotion was only a available for the experience beyond. Since my phone is practically shattered on the back of it and it's an iPhone 12 I pretty much won't get any trade in value unless I used that promotion😭
Have they recently dropped the promotion for the experience more plan? Did I really miss out on the promotion?😭

Just wait tell the iPhone 17 comes out. I’m sure there will be new/better promotions available. They removed some promotions on the iPhone 16pro today maybe for anticipation for the new one an a couple months.

The promos are in flux right now -- T-Mobile employees report that the promos still show in their system, but they aren't showing in the app. I think the promos updated today, but the new promo codes aren't populated yet to the consumer side (i.e., the chewing gum and duct tape holding their systems together may have failed today). While conventional wisdom would suggest waiting for the iPhone 17 in 2 months, the 12 is now the oldest generation that gets the $830 credit. When the iPhone 16 came out last year, the iPhone 11 dropped from $830 to $415, so there is a decent chance the iPhone 12 will drop from $830 to $415 by launch.
