And I'd like to get a large table top either made from wood or some sort of plastic type material, doesn't make me much difference.
Where would I find some good options online?
Thanks!
Standing desk frame from Amazon + table top from ikea? (Flexispot + LAGKAPTEN)
So in order to save a few quid I was thinking of getting just the naked leg frame and buy the table top separately.
I found lagkapten on ikea for about 25 bucks which would be about 75-100 bucks less than buying the complete table.
However I read that I have to be careful with the materials as some are better than others, or they could break when screwing to the frame.
Anyone did some DIY on this?
For frames either thinking Flexispot or Esmarts. On Amazon: B08KDVQLF9 and B07HFXLNJ7
Edit: esmart without table costs 249 vs 399, so we’re talking 150 difference. Maybe I can spend a bit more than 25 on the table top. Are there more recommended ikea tabletops?

Standing desk tops
A lot of people buy one of IKEA’s thick veneer countertops since they’re incredibly cheap for l large, decent quality, wooden desk tops. I personally bought a 74” oak-veneer KARLBY countertop that I plan to install onto a VIVO standing desk frame once everything gets delivered later this month.
