my main issue with tachiyomi is that its too slow for me to really read through anything, sometimes taking about 30 minutes for just 3 pages to load. I tried the j2k version and theres not really any difference in loading speed, might be slower.

Old but anyways it's slow and will always remain slow cuz tachiyomi downloads one at a time slowing down the download process of pages it gets really slow when download multiple pages some chapters has 6(downloads very fast) while some has over 100(downloads very slow) page division size doesn't matter but downloading less size images gives slow speed and the speed dips to zero when the page is downloaded then picks again,etc reading it using internet due to good management and regular connectivity of single ip gives decent speed downloading one by one but using the download feature slows the speed to extremely unbearably slow, i am throwing some random info cuz i know your problem was different(saw in the comments) but i am so frustrated because of slow download speed that i decided to write this(it loads immediately when reading online well but i waana download it)

I am only interested in regular "western" non-manga comics, and almost all of the sources have now stopped working.
There are like 3 extensions still functioning and they are missing loads of stuff.
It's annoying having to source and download the cbrs/cbzs somewhere online to read them.

Whenever I scroll through my Manga on Tachiyomi YS it is fine, no lag or anything but when I try reading downloaded chapters the reader freezes randomly and sometimes when I go to the next chapter.
Things that I've tried:
-reinstalling Tachiyomi YS -Trying using Mihon -turning off the 32 bit color decoder thingy -using different source, aswell trying on a different Manga which is not colored. -Freeing up ram -restarting my phone

Like my Internet is already slow enough(8mbps), but if I download or read something on Tachiyomi it only USES 5KB BRUV.
