I am currently looking into building an Ergonaut One and I’m at the point of considering my options for low profile switches.
Beforehand I was using a custom built Kunlun board (from KBDFans) with lubed U4T bobas (an MX-Style switch) and I really love the feel of them.
I have heard lots of great things about the Cowberries or Wisterias (especially lubed). I would love to hear some opinions on this topic or some options I might have not even considered yet.
Would be grateful for any feedback :)

I have tried tactile choc browns and sunsets, and linears twilight and red pro. The sunsets are ok if you like the feedback and was my choice over both browns (horrible) and red pros (ok but felt too light and I had the feeling that I lost control while typing too easily) Since I tried the twilight, I am happy. Even at the same rating as the red pros, they are more estable and you can type precisely. After getting used to the twilights, used the sunsets again in the same keyboard but felt that required too much strength and the feedback was not that great. So I am sticking with the twilights for now. edit: corrected spelling mistakes

Kailh Choc v2 Brown, Gateron KS-33 2.0 or Cherry MX Low-Profile Brown i guess, low profile option are very limited. Edit : Since you said you want most actuation force you might want clicky not tactile, in this case you need to change the brown to blue except kaihl one it will be Kailh Choc v2 White. With these I get the occasional actuation before the click if I'm pressing very slowly (some gaming scenarios), but haven't run into the issue while typing. These are almost as tactile as the Jades, but easier on my fingers and they have a very satisfying sound and good post-click return. A fantastic switch!

My biggest issue with mechanical keyboards (and most keyboards in general) is that the keys are really tall. Low profile switches, like Cherry MX low profile reds, are perfect, but I personally prefer tactile switches like browns. Are there any other companies' switches that are tactile and low profile?

Old thread, I know, but thought it was worth mentioning in case anybody stumbles on it in the future because I looked for something similar myself a few months back. I have this HAVIT KB395L Low Profile keyboard, which I use on occasion: https://www.prohavit.com/products/hv-kb395l-low-profile-mechanical-keyboard/ It has low profile Kailh blues, and they're pretty clicky. I got it on Amazon for $69. I like it quite a bit, though I would probably prefer low profile browns if that ever becomes an option.
