Functional side tables that have drawers? Everything I've found doesn't
Are side tables and nightstands the same?
Think of nightstands as the bedside specialists. They’re usually shorter and more compact — built to sit snug next to your bed without stealing the spotlight. Most come with drawers because, let’s be honest, no one needs to see your sleep mask and half-read books on display.
Side tables, on the other hand, play the long game. They’re lighter, more open in design, and not tied down to one room. Sofa-side, hallway, reading nook — wherever you need a surface, they show up. No fuss, just function (and a little flair).
Does The Home Depot offer end & side tables in different frame materials?
Are there end & side tables with different finish options?
TL;DR - I have to find tables at least 30" high, and no wider than 12". Ideally, they'd be no deeper than 12"-15"ish.
I have a loft-style apartment, with a strange floorplan. As a result, our queen size bed is tucked into a nook which provides 1'ish of clearance on either side. This is fine for my partner and I getting in and out of bed, but has also meant we can't find end tables. Right now we're making due with some mini organizers I had, but these are very utilitarian and don't match our much more boho-adjacent style.
Does anyone know where to find tables like this? We've scoured second hand shops and online store, and I've even considered making something myself but no perfect solution is coming up.
