Any opinions on the new Casaluna line at Target?
I was almost swayed by the casaluna line, but the price and quality for casaluna just wasn't right. The linen from Casaluna is a cotton/linen blend - so if you're looking to invest in linen you should just splurge and get something 100% linen. The linen definitely looks cool and feels pretty good, but I'm not convinced on quality for the price they're asking. I almost bought the percale sheets from them...but talked myself out of it cause for just a few extra dollars I could have got something much nicer from west elm/Brooklinen/etc.
I ended up buying a linen duvet and percale sheets from west elm and LOVE them. The best linen i've tried (I've been searching for a while) and the sheets feel like a dream...so nice I can't believe I almost bought target sheets over a $30 difference.

I am particularly interested in the linen bedding options and if they are worth the investment

I haven’t tried that target line but I am here to talk about linen. I believe it is worth the investment if you are tired of silky, sweaty, sateen cotton sheets. My husband, who loves softer silkier bedding wasn’t a fan at first, but the cooling factor has won him over. I bought a set from lands end during a 50% off sale. I’ve had them for a year and they’ve held up beautifully. They have a cozy but cooling feel. We use them year round. We live in Georgia where it’s hot and humid and they’ve made nighttime more comfortable. I no longer wake up wet with sweat (even if I am hot). They aren’t super thick or thin. I’ve tried bamboo (which is softer and silkier), I’ve tried percale cotton, sateen cotton. Nothing compares to the breathability of linen in my experience. Linen is also more durable and softens with use and time. Hope this review helps you.
