May 20, 2015 - Ours is 8am-9/10pm depending on the day. Store closes at midnight on Friday and Saturday. Food ave closes 2 hours before the store. We are a very high volume store though. Our cafe pretty much has double coverage open to close.

We went from having two team members a day, 9-330, 330-8:15 this time a year ago, to 10:30-7 -- if we're lucky. Before Black Friday, we were only open MWFSaSu, and really only operational 11:15-6 to allow enough time for set up/cleaning/tear down each day. Now we're open each day except for Tuesday, and next week is ONLY Sunday/Friday/Saturday.
Has anyone noticed food ave/cafe hours being severely cut at your stores? Our Food TL is frustrated because she keeps getting overstepped by other leadership and has exhausted her resources to my knowledge. But, doesn't Target have a contract with Pizza Hut like it does with Starbucks, that it HAS TO remain open during such-and-such times? Our team has two moms and their hours went from ~30 last week, to ~10-12 next week. I went from ~20 this week to 4 next week. How the hell am I supposed to pay off student loans on 4 hours a week?!
Sorry for the rant lol, I just can't wait to be at a job where I don't have to worry week to week if I'll have to choose between loan, food, or rent.

Man that was my favorite job I ever had at Target back in like 2009-2012 before it started to go away and become Sbux. The TL was whatever, not the coolest but not the worst she definitely knew about and probably let a lot of shenanigans go by. The older lady that mainly opened was this older lady from Trinidad and Tobago who was funny as hell and was a blast to work with. She'd sneak food and would turn a blind eye to us if we were to ever make a custom pizza/sandwich or something. Then the closing crew was a few guys and girls in there late teens to mid 20s and this was before they cut hours at Cafes like crazy and we actually would have two closers and it was just such a chill time. I ate waaaayyy too many personal pan pizzas and chicken alfredos during that time period so it's probably for the best that eventually came to and end lol.

Yep. In remodeled stores, they were kept in locations where they make an actual profit, but most of them are/were loss leaders. Some locations also switched to “food avenue” which has self serve popcorn and icees, but no hot food.

Most around here have the Pizza Hut express with premade pizzas and bread bites in them in like a warmer. More often than not, nobody is running it tho

I just recently got hired today for a barista position in my local target and I’m not exactly sure of what the dress code is? I know jeans & khaki pants are allowed but as far as shirts go I’m not sure? Do I wear red? Or black? Or both? Collard or no collard? Is the uniform provided or is that... ... I was having a conversation with an ETL and they told me our Cafe was making less money than it paid out in payroll every day, and its hours have been slashed to lunch hour only.
