Getting a job at the target DC is incredibly easy... All you do is apply through workday and answer the obvious questions on the pre-hire assessments. There is no drug testing or interview so usually you can get a start day within a week or so... The Target DC's including the one I work at have been desperate for employees since COVID as they never recovered. I do warn though that you will begin as a warehouse associate and you will have a tough first few months until someone finally decides you are worthy of being trained on PIT. Also, most of the year OT isn't really available but when it is available it's incredibly easy to volunteer as most people don't wanna do it and OT is mandatory around Thanksgiving-Christmas. As for benefits... Starts out at two weeks of PTO every yr as long as you work those hours. The healthcare, 401k and dental is pretty standard... The deductions are not as bad as most jobs I had and the insurance is pretty decent. I usually hear that working night shift is easier as they have a lighter work load but I can't confirm as I never worked nights but if you can work nights maybe that is worth checking out. I worked at a Target warehouse. It sucked. 2/10 would not recommend. They're on your ass all day long. They make sure they get their money's worth when paying you. TBH I'm surprised you got $24 but I wouldn't go back even for that. I was paid $18 there and left because I hated literally everyone there. Bosses were assholes and coworkers were filled with negative energy.
