Target Corp. Layoffs - TheLayoff.com
I was part of the layoff in October, and I noticed today my position along with a couple others laid off on my team have been posted on Target’s career page. They made some slight adjustments but it is almost exactly the job I was laid off from.

During the pandemic, companies figured out that many white collar office jobs could be done remotely. Then they realized that a substantial portion of these jobs could be done in offshore by cheap contracr workers in global innovation centers in places like India and Indonesia.

I was one of Target's corporate TMs that got laid off. Definitely resonated with some sentiments in here. My role was critically elevated as we struggled for at least 2 years coming out of the pandemic with our supply chain. Worked my ass off with incredibly difficult, never-before-seen operational challenges. All to be given the axe as our supply chain stabilized and their bottom line became more critical to them. Huge slap in the face after a 11 year career and any good things I have to say about Target are gone. I will be thinking twice about linking up with another mega corp in my next role.

October 28, 2025 - Target management should have to tell them to their faces they’re losing income security. ... I’ve seen this posted before, but I was a little confused. Is the plan to send everyone who got laid their things via mail? Or were people asked to pack their things as a whole before the announcement?
