i’ve had this bed frame for over a year and love the look of it! however, i noticed my mattress sank in the middle and thought it was just because it was an old mattress. So I ended up buying a new mattress but it still continues to sink in the middle.
The slats that came with Luroy are curved, so i’m wondering if that’s the problem? or is it because the metal sides are higher than the center beam where the bed goes?
Anyone else ever have this issue?
ready to hear your insights, ideas, tried and trues 🙂
i'm looking for a king size bed frame with 4 legs (so, without any center legs) that won't sag or have issues.
i'm looking at the tarva and curious if anyone has modified to strengthen it a bit?
-i have read to use lonset slats. are those pretty strong? or better to get solid 1xs? or something else?
-is the center support beam skorva pretty strong? i've read some issues with it (screws pulling out of the wood pieces, sagging). has anyone reinforced this somehow? extra and longer screws (or perhaps even bolts)? could one user modified joist hangers to secure it 😄
-any other modifications, like right angle brackets or something in the inside corners?
or maybe the move is to just get it and figure it out once i'm looking at it 🤷🏻♀️ i guess the main question would be to have the ikea slats or get others? i assume people still use the skorva regardless of it they change out slats (but perhaps not!).
thanks for any thoughts on this!

if is helpful, other beds i'm sort of considering are the hartford platform from carolina leg co (still $440 which is a lot more expensive, but i think i read can hold 1000 lbs, poplar instead of pine) and the kd nomad platform bed ($319, says it can hold 600lbs) but that one i'm realizing maybe the kind actually does have a center leg?
