August 19, 2025 - Taylor Kitsch, who played Gambit in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, is finally speaking out about being replaced by Channing Tatum in Deadpool & Wolverine and the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday.

He auditioned for the role but was ultimately cut from the movie, the opportunity presented itself for him to “reprise” his role in ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’ in 2009 but he was unavailable and the role went to Taylor Kitsch instead.
