3 weeks ago - The Life of a Showgirl just didn’t do it for me. I would rank it one of her worse albums as of late. There’s maybe 2-3 songs that I’ll listen to if they pop up. But otherwise it’s not on repeat like I have done with albums in the past (folklore/evermore era was 10/10 for me). And that’s okay 👍🏻people don’t have to listen to it or pay attention to others reviews of it 🤷🏼‍♀️ ... But is it a 0.0? Then review it. Pitchfork has an eloquent wordplay system for its highly scientifically and linguistically accurate scores, so much that it could give flat 0.0 scores for completely random mediocre albums and nobody would care whose career got destroyed.

October 6, 2025 - I mean the Atlantic Review was negative and made no sense either https://www.theatlantic.com/culture/2025/10/taylor-swift-the-life-of-a-showgirl-album-review/684444/ like they're saying in the sub text that her life is a drag is what she's saying, which is weird. I do agree she's overexposed again, but other than that some weird hot takes with this album. ... I actually think that one was one of the better reviews since it has valid criticism and they didn’t seem to hate on her for the sake of being her like Pitchfork that has never liked her so their reviews are incredibly biased.
