I’ve searched through what I can find on the views of what to and not to “invest” in as far as osint certs and my ultimate goal is to get good at open and all source.
Would TCM be a solid foundation with it being one of the cheaper options being at $400 currently and being eligible for the 20% off?
TCM has a Practical Bug Bounty course.
Anyone tried it yet?
What do you think about it? Do you think it's better than PortSwigger Academy?
PortSwigger vs HacktheBox vs TryHackMe vs HackThisSite vs TCM-security
Which of these are the best or most helpful?

Hey everyone, I wanted to know if anyone took some of their courses, are they good, do they provide labs for their courses?
Can we settle this one? Whichs gives you better fundamentals to advance path? i know tcm academy is good. thm is good enough but htb maybe better nowadays?
If you have to recommend just one for everything or one from fundamentals and the other one for advance stuff?
or better which gives you knowledge and skills to start hacking after finishing?
Recently came across this cyber security academy. Recommended by a friend, the site offers good quality courses that are not very expensive like the rest and often run huge discounts in which courses can be bought for as low as $5. They are probably gonna give similar discounts during Christmas. So, has anyone ever tried their course, are they worth it and helpful?
Not long ago, I found out about TCM-Security through a friend. So, I would like to know from you guys in the cybersecurity field (both students and workers) if their certs are industry recognized in terms of job acquisition or for leveling up for better job positions?

Wanted to share this so others in the cybersecurity community don’t get stuck like I did.
I had an active TCM Security All-Access Pass. When I tried to cancel, their system simply did not work, for months.
They migrated platforms and left older subscribers stuck in the old system. My account showed no active subscription, yet they kept charging me. Support repeatedly gave me the same instructions, even after I sent multiple screenshots proving nothing worked. They also refused to cancel it manually on their end.
Today a cancellation link finally appeared, but only after months of emails and frustration. Now I’m still trying to get a refund for the months where I was paying for something I could not cancel or access properly.
Key Points • Broken subscription system in the legacy platform • No visible cancellation option despite following all instructions • Continued billing while claiming there was no active subscription • Support unwilling to cancel from backend • Still fighting for a fair refund
I’m all for supporting cybersecurity education providers, but this was one of the most stressful and unfair subscription experiences I’ve encountered in this field.
Sharing so others are aware before signing up for any recurring billing with TCM Security.
After working for two months, I've accumulated enough money to buy an annual subscription of THM however I'm in dilemma whether I should buy THM subscription or TCM. Need your kind help. I'm a newbie though.
Hello all,
TCM Security has a 7-day free trial available for their all-access membership. I used this as an opportunity to look at the PEH course material which is used in the PNPT. I will be looking at the Privilege escalation courses after to bolster my enumeration checklist.

I gotta say this doesn't look like a certification you want to skip. The videos are WAY better than offsec's and he uses plenty of real-world examples and case studies. I wouldn't be surprised to see this cert become the gold standard soon.
Obviously OSCP is still the HR-buster, but the PNPT course material seems like it will nicely fill in knowledge gaps caused due to the CTF-like nature of the OSCP. These two certs in tandem seem like a dangerous combo.
A couple years ago their courses were like $30 a pop. And then they suddenly shifted to an all-access pass type subscription model.
I'm now looking at their website and the only option is to buy a course+exam for hundreds of dollars each with no option of just buying a course or an exam separately.
I also remember them boasting a couple years ago about being affordable and how they do not like gatekeeping knowledge with big pricetags. I guess capitalism catches up to everyone.
Recently, I started working as a penetration tester for web apps and APIs. Still, I can also begin making mobile applications penetration tests to gain more knowledge and expand my portfolio, so I found this course from TCM Security. Have someone do it? What do you think about it? Thanks!
I'm a professional in project management with a keen interest in cybersecurity as a personal pursuit. Currently, I am in the process of finishing the ISC2 introductory course titled "Certified in Cybersecurity." While I have some fundamental knowledge in this field, I'm eager to delve deeper into cybersecurity-focused Python courses. I came across information indicating that TCM Security offers excellent Python 101 and 201 courses that are highly regarded in the industry.
I'm seeking your advice on whether I should enroll in these TCM Security courses or pursue my learning through resources available on python.org or python101.pythonlibrary. If you have any alternative course recommendations based on your experience, please feel free to share them in the comments section as I'm open to exploring other options.
Thank you in advance for your guidance.
I came across the TCM Security pen test course in r/PenTest and was wondering if it's still good. I googled it and found a post saying that it's outdated. Does anyone know if that's true? Should I get it or should I stick with Udemy courses? I have one on Udemy but it doesn't go as deep as I want and some attacks are outdated(like eternal blue). If it's not something I should invest in, what's a good, inexpensive alternative?

Hi all, looking Specifically as a penetration tester or cybersecurity engineer. Can anyone recommend which list of TCM Security courses or certifications would be most useful or sufficient to help me get started? Thanks!
Hi, Does anyone have subscribed to TCM Security? I wanna subscribe for 299$ a year. Is it worth?
Hi all, I wanted to come to Reddit and see if anyone could help with my dilemma. Currently, I am taking WGU courses for Cybersec and am doing TCM security academy on the weekends for more practical experience. However this week I tried the trial for hackthebox and have to say it was beneficial and I learned a lot just from getting the flags from those few VMS. I can only do one on the weekends so could I get help deciding which one is gonna improve my skills more? I also plan on getting the certs from whichever path I choose.
