Popular Mechanics has nosedived in quality. I was fascinated by the magazine as a boy and am trying to provide a similar experience for my boys. What modern magazines (if any) are on par with the Popular Mechanics of 20 years ago?
So I saw a post asking about the music video era, and it gave me the idea for this post. I know a lot of you on here either are teenagers or close to it, so this is mainly for the 21 and under crowd. Were/are teen magazines still popular amongst the preteen/teen demographic? From ages 11 to about 16/17, I was heavy into magazines like seventeen, teen vogue, and to a lesser extent, J-14 and tiger beat. I know we have the internet now where you can literally keep up with your favorite celeb through their insta,TikTok, and Twitter but are teen mags still a “thing”? I know print media is pretty much dead, but I feel like I don't really see kids with them anymore.
