Dealers/DMV have been taking for ever to get people plates. My roommate bought a car and it took 8 months do get a plate.. now I don't actually know if that's the case with this car. More on reddit.com

Expired temporary plate
For whatever reason, most dealers wait as long as possible to submit the paperwork to DMV. You should get it real soon, but if you can wait on hold call MVD and ask for the status. You will need the VIN so they can look it up. In the meantime, I would think the cops would let it go. Be sure to carry all the paperwork from the dealer for proof. More on reddit.com

Correct way to drive unregistered car back to Arizona?
https://servicearizona.com/applicationFAQ/3day A Restricted Use 3-Day Permit allows a person to operate an unregistered vehicle or a vehicle with a suspended registration from the present location of the vehicle to a specified destination. The Restricted Use 3-Day Permit is valid only for the following purposes only: Emissions Testing Vehicle Inspection Application for Title and/or Registration Vehicle repair to comply with Emissions or Inspection Might be a loose interpretation of the rules, but seems to me you are moving the vehicle (from another state) to 'Apply for Title and/or Registration'. E: This may also be a potential option . More on reddit.com

ULPT: No registration or expired tags/plates? The Arizona DMV will issue you a 3-day temporary moving permit, try to get them on a Friday or Saturday as you would receive a few extra days for only $1. Note that you could do this 3 times a year.

Above I added the website don't go to that third party DMV. Gov b******* they'll just give you the runaround.

Click on online services and you'll see a tab that says ' temporary 3-day restricted permit ' and through your vehicles information and BOOM! You're legit from 3 to 5 days.
