I’ll be honest, Tempur-Pedic has been the only mattress that I have ever loved. I am a mattress sales person, and I’ve been selling them since 2010 at different companies. I’ve owned a Sealy memory foam, was okay but way too firm and didn’t have the cooling that was promised. I replaced it with a Tempur-Pedic and it was heaven. I had for several years, and then when I was working at Sleep Number I bought into the culture that Sleep Number was better. So I bought their most expensive one (since I had a killer discount) and I chose haul away… I regretted that decision ever since. I absolutely hated Sleep Number, it was a glorified air mattress with a foam topper. I ended up replacing it almost immediately with a Casper and got a Wave Hybrid Snow. That worked well for a couple of years, but now I have a topper on it because it just doesn’t feel comfortable anymore. I’m back in the mattress market and I’m looking at getting the new LuxeBreeze soft, or go all out and get the ActiveBreeze. I never had any problems with my old Tempur-Pedic and I am almost positive if I didn’t let Sleep Number haul away my old one that I would still be sleeping on it. Answer from Nickool4u on reddit.com

My partner and I noticed that Tempurpedic is having a closeout sale for the LUXE-Breeze and PRO-breeze this weekend. We went in to feel out the LUXE-breeze in store... It's supposedly $1,800 off, but I'm nervous about their "all sales final" disclaimer. We both really loved the Luxe Breeze firm option in the store, but I'm afraid that I might change my mind in a few months. Yet, I don't want to miss an opportunity here. Thoughts? Experiences?

One thing to think about is how these cooling models actually hold up over time. A lot of the tech sounds great in store, but real world use can be different, especially if you're in a hotter climate or share the bed with a partner who sleeps warm. I've read some people still end up using cooling mattress pads or fans even with the LuxeBreeze, so just keep that in mind. Also, the all sales final bit would make me pause too.

The wife and I like the hybrid medium pro breeze a couple weeks ago when we seen one in stores. Now they have the pro breeze older model for 30% off. Is there many differences in models?

Probreeze now is 5 degrees, last model was 3 degrees cooler than the adapt. I don't know why this guy is mentioning nectar or referring to casper. There are A LOT of differences between memory foam and tempur material. And Casper is honestly a terrible brand with roughly a 5 year expectancy vs 15-30 years for tempur. Nectar isnt a good comparison either. The quality just isn't there. My warehouse has a huge stack of nectars that never decompressed correctly. The only mattress I've seen that's truly comparable to tempur breeze is the serta arctic, but it was a flop from what I've seen. For reference, I've been managing a mattress firm for 4 years and have owned Tempur-pedic luxe breeze soft for almost 5 years. Also, my roommate had a Casper that he spent $1200 on when we moved and it lasted him all of 6 months before it was dipping, where he then replaced it with a tempurpedic. You don't have to like the truth, but the reputation for tempur is well deserved.

Hi! Mfrm employee here So tempurpedic says the current pro breeze feels up to 5° cooler than the adapt tempurpedics. Luxe breeze is up to 10° The old pro-breezr model was 2 or 3° compared to the adapt if memory serves. There might be some other differences in the feel, but those spec layers aren't as dramatic as the extra cooling. Thats gonna be the main difference.
